The Story of Matt Davies and Summit Cleaning & Restoration
When Brian and Angie Harper purchased Summit Cleaning & Restoration in 2005, they did not have a goal to become the largest fire and water damage restoration company in Oregon; instead, their goal was to become the best. With two employees and a passion for customer service at the corner of First and Ida in Stayton, they set out to provide quality work and exceptional customer service.
Today, Summit operates out of three locations and serves communities from the outskirts of Salem to Oregon City and Redmond. They have strong ties to the Stayton community as well and employ over sixty people. They serve over a thousand commercial and residential customers annually to help them recover from property damage losses.
Matt Davies joined Summit in early 2014 as a carpenter on the trade team. He is not only a skilled carpenter, but he is humble, hungry, and smart. He believes that every opportunity is a chance to learn and grow. He doesn’t care about fancy titles or personal prestige; he treats his employees and peers with the utmost respect even when having difficult conversations. He is also a certified Double Master Restorer through the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification, a designation that is both difficult and rare. His many years of experience in the restoration industry, along with his dedication to providing exceptional customer service, has helped him build Summit into what it is today.
